Board Member

My wife (Melissa) and two boys (Jeremy and Justin) moved to Vinton in 1998. Melissa and I have three grandchildren – two of which live here in Vinton. I recently retired from “Corporate America” where I was responsible for global operations in several of the largest companies in the world. I am now co-owner of M&M Taphouse, LLC (dba Beast & Bird) with my amazing business partners, Logan Merchant and Justin McBride.
Jeremy and Justin both graduated from VSHS where Melissa and I were heavily involved with the fine arts booster program. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). I have also studied at Johns Hopkins University.
Being retired has provided me the time to explore chapters I never thought would be in my story. I am looking forward to making a difference (outside of the corporate boardroom).
Vinton has so much to offer. I appreciate the opportunity to use my leadership skills and my logical and innovative approach to help shape the future story of Vinton.
