Vinton native and Vinton enthusiast. I believe my love of Vinton is what helped me capture the position of Vinton Unlimited Executive Director. Not everyone who’s a Vinton native is also a Vinton enthusiast but perhaps my moving away after graduation and spending time in other areas helped me appreciate what Vinton has to offer. The degrees I acquired after leaving home were in Theology as well as Sign Language Interpreting. Having utilized these degrees at different periods in my life, I have now found myself back home in Vinton promoting the community I love.

Beyond interests in Vinton, I also have creative interests in art and writing. I’ve found that once you breathe creativity into your soul, it permeates every aspect of your being. I believe the same can be said about Vinton: Once you breathe Vinton into your soul, it permeates every aspect of your being. It becomes a part of you.

I encourage you to get out and explore Vinton, breathe in life here, and be an ambassador. Help make Vinton the place we all want to call home.
