To kick off the summer, we welcomed Nick Hyland into the office as our Intern. I am excited to have Nick in the office as he will offer a fresh, young, new perspective on events and has already offered some great ideas.

Please note Nick can be reached at [email protected] and 472-3955.

His presence will also be extremely valuable as I transition out of the office for maternity leave in the upcoming weeks. Please note that during this time, I will be unavailable but am confident Nick, along with the help of the Board of Directors, will be able to ’hold down the fort!’ Nick will tentatively be available in the office on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. Vinton Value Dollars and Palace Bucks will still be available for purchase in the Vinton Unlimited office but we will be asking for 5-7 days to process the purchase request. Boom-Fest preparations will also continue on as planned. (Vendors will be accepted through August 12, 2016). I look to return to the office and resume normal hours early this fall.

As if maternity leave wasn’t enough excitement for the summer, the Vinton Unlimited office will also be moving locations within City Hall. We will slowly be transitioning into an office in Council Chambers. The Vinton Police Departments plans to occupy our current office space so public access to the new Vinton Unlimited office will be easiest using the door on 3rd Avenue rather than the door on A Ave.
